CNC Team Lead

Job Summary: Sets up, operates, controls, adjusts and performs work on CNC machining centers. Performs diversified and milling, drilling, boring , tapping or machining of the company’s products either manually or computer control. Tracks scrap, daily through put for all shifts, schedules jobs to meet customer demand, schedules employees for jobs, processes outgoing paperwork as well as preventive maintenance. 2 yrs min experience
Qualifications & Skills: Strong Mechanical ability * Knowledge of hand tools * Ability to work in a manufacturing setting including lifting / moving up to 50#, walking, standing, stooping, bending etc for an entire shift * Highschool diploma, GED or on the job equivalent * STrong math skills * Good dexterity * Solid organizational and housekeeping skills * Good comprehension skills * Can take and follow direction * blueprint reading * SPC reporting * basic knowledge of Word & Excel * Familiarity with ERP systems * 2 yrs min exp on CNC equipment for Haas, Fanuc and Fadal controls * Basic knowledge of G & M codes

Cold Heading Apprentice

Department: Heading
Job Summary: This is an entry level position with the opportunity for lots of growth. As an apprentice you will learn many things as we spend about a year of training investment in you. Some things you will learn, just to name a few, are how to feed coil into a header, how to set up and run a cold heading piece of machinery. You will be taught how to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers thread rings and plugs. You will also be taught how to report SPC information and the importance for each job. You will also learn how to read blue prints

Lathe Operator

Job Summary: sets up and operates CNC and manual lathes performing close tolerance operations in turning, facing, boring, chamfering, recessing, and form turning on a wide variety of production parts. Works from blue prints, operations sheets, and verbal orders and occasionally makes fixtures and hold-downs. Requires knowledge of cutting tools as well as SPC and SPC reporting. Typically requires a highschool education or equivalent and may require some technical training

Counts, weighs and measures items to verify against bills of lading, invoices, etc. packs or unpacks items and routes to departments. Pulls inventory to ship from pick lists. Weights counts and ships via customer requirements
